The past weekend, one of our sweet kiddos turned 4! I can hardly believe that time is passing so quickly and she is already getting ready to head into Pre-K. For her birthday this year, she has been dying for a “goldfish birthday”. I changed that up a little bit and we decided on an under the sea birthday party, complete with mermaids of course;)

Under The Sea Birthday Party
Food:
As always, I feel like themed food makes the party complete. For our menu we filled it all with Under The Sea related items, and it was a hit. My sister-in-law even made some coral reef out of SUGAR, which she is such a champ for doing.
The food was fairly easy, and you could make most of it yourself (although I just bought a bunch of premade things from Costco). We had Ocean Punch, which was a blue punch for the kiddos, and wine with these adorable mermaid labels from Etsy.
Menu:
- Sea Crab Sandwiches (Crossiant Sandwiches)
- Seaweed Dip (Spinach and Artichoke dip)
- Sea Snails (Pigs in a blanket)
- Shark Attack Fruit Bowl
- Coral Reef Veggie Tray
- Mermaid Macarons from Decadent Macaron (She is AMAZING)
- Oyster Pearls (Pearl gumballs)
- Seaweed and Shark Gummies (Sour Belts strung on wooden skewers)
- Fish n’ Chips (Goldfish Crackers and Chips)
- Shell Pasta Salad
And of course, the amazing cake made be her auntie at Cakes Take Shape.
Decor:
Honestly, this was one of my favorites parties to decorate for so far. I loved how everything turned out.
The favor bags were filled with fish bubbles salt water taffy, and fish-shaped suckers. Too cute!
We picked up almost everything online from Oriental Trading Co. You can see all of the party supplies from Oriental Trading Co here.
My favorite thing was the hanging fish net with the starfish hanging from the ceiling. It just tied everything together!
Overall, the party was a huge hit! My daughter loved her “goldfish birthday”/ Under the sea birthday. We even got her some REAL fish as a gift:)
*Cheers to one more year passing by so quickly*
I love this! I did a sea themed baby shower once and it was a blast to put together. Your daughters cake was stunning, and the labels for the wine tied it in so well! Hoping one of my kids request this in the future.

Such a gorgeous party! I have 2 boys, so I had to take a peek and see what I was missing out on. Looks like it was a blast & a precious memory for your daughter 🙂
My daughter would go nuts for this! We are in the process of redecorating her room with an under the sea theme.
This has a special spot in my heart. My daughter had an under the sear party for her 4th too. Your party turned out lovely!
