Over the weekend, our twins turned 3! I cannot believe how quickly they are growing up, and now they really are two peas in a pod, or two mischievous teammates that gang up against their mom. That’s more like it! I also share our party ideas with you all, so I put together a run down of these ice cream birthday party ideas for you, and all of the shops that we used for the party.
*I have partnered with some of the shops in this post for the items used. Some links may also be affiliate links. All opinions in this post are my own.
Ice Cream Birthday Party Ideas
As far as the food goes, we had it in the middle of the day and we also made it a pool party, so we didn’t really have to do a lot in terms of feeding people.
I made this Ice Cream Cone Fruit Cups, which were a hit, and a nice break from all of the sweets that we had. The little “3” sticks are from Noteworthy Paper Place (see below):)
I also created these meat and cheese tray, and tried to make them look like ice cream cones.
We, of course, had to create an ice cream sundae bar, which was the main focus of the party. I love how it turned out, and it was a big hit for the kids. I will say that the hardest part was keeping the ice cream from melting here in Arizona. The tray of scoops on top of a tray of ice was okay, although dry ice would have worked much better.
The cookies that we had for treats and as favors were custom-made and designed by Sweet Melissa. I cannot say enough good things about these! They were the perfect size to give a few as favors, and the designs are so unique. I love how she customized them to the twins:) .
For all of the paper goods, we used Noteworthy Paper Place and I am so glad that we did! How adorable are these cupcake toppers, signs, and banners?
She custom-made them based on the theme for the party, and the color scheme that I gave her.

We had a fantastic pancake party for our 2 year old. I’ve always wanted to have an ice cream bar at one of the kids parties. This looks so cute and obviously was loved by everyone.
That’s a cute idea!
