Taking Care of Your Body After Pregnancy

As a mom of four, my body has gone through the ringer during pregnancy and birth, not to mention postpartum. As moms, we can all attest to the many changes that your body goes through during these years. I wanted to share some of my favorite ways of taking care of your body after pregnancy.

What are some changes you have noticed in your body after pregnancy? We are talking about a HUGE one that no one wants to talk about, but we all experience.

My biggest problem that seems to have never gone away after my babies? Pelvic floor problems. Okay, so no one really wants to talk about this. But, we all know its real life, especially if you’ve had a baby. Trampolines, jumping jacks, laughing too hard… for moms who have had kids, these can all be dangerous situations, if you know what I mean.

Body After Pregnancy

When the Apex team reached out to me asking if I wanted to try out their device, I was a little skeptical. Mostly, this was because I had never thought to try anything like this. In all honesty though, kegels only go so far!

Actually, only 50% of women do Kegel exercises the right way. That means half of us are not reaping the benefits of the exercise!

Apex is an Automatic Pelvic (Kegel) Exerciser that is FDA cleared medical device that treats stress incontinence, or leaking when you laugh, cough, sneeze, run, or lift something heavy.  It works by using muscle stimulation to strengthen the muscles of the pelvic floor.

It uses the muscle stimulation to target the exact muscles that you need to target, without worrying about whether or not you are doing it the right way. They have specific instructions, and a team of nurses on staff, to answer any and all questions you have on the Apex or the process of using it. More benefits include:

  • Improved intimacy, sensation and orgasm
  • Bladder Control, no more leaking at the gym
  • Keeping our pelvic floor organs in place
  • Faster recovery from childbirth

This device is not uncomfortable to use. You only have to do it for 5-10 minutes, and it is really easy to use. You can read more about the science behind Apex here.

I have tried Apex now for 8 weeks, and have noticed a significant improvement in my pelvic floor and stress incontinence. I have no issue chatting about this, because I am so glad that I there is such a big improvement.

Over 90% of the people who have tried Apex for 12 weeks or more have noticed a large change, and that is huge!

Like I said, I wasn’t convinced about this product until I tried it for myself. You can find out more information on the Apex, and the other devices that they offer, here. I would highly suggest doing the research and checking them out if you have similar issues.
