Spring is well on its way here in Arizona and soon it will be wherever you are as well:) That means it’s time for a wardrobe change. I am currently pregnant with twins (You can read my most recent pregnancy update here). I will be 5-7 months pregnant during the spring season so finding some good quality maternity clothing is an absolute must.
Between my other two pregnancies, I only even bought ONE piece of maternity clothing, that I rarely wore. My regular clothing always seemed to work, although I do regret wearing certain things while pregnant because the belly stretched them out. With this pregnancy, I feel like I have had to buy maternity clothes extremely early. It could be because I am carrying two children;)
These clothing and outfit ideas are things that I think would work well for anyone that’s pregnant, from your first trimester all the way through the end of your second and maybe third depending on how you are carrying.
Maternity Clothing For Spring
My favorite places to buy maternity clothing are Target, Pink Blush Maternity, and Old Navy. I also found some summer pieces at places like ASOS Maternity, Ross, and TJMaxx. Target maternity is great, even though the selection could be bigger. I always find great bottoms and pieces that I can wear over and over. Pink Blush Maternity has the CUTEST maternity clothing items and I am absolutely in love with what I have ordered from them so far. Old Navy was a recent discovery because it’s not somewhere I usually shop at, but the have a great selection of basics.
I have linked to all of the products that I could find available online. Depending on the weather where you are, you can add a coat on top of these to make it fit for spring, or not!

Some tips and closest staples for dressing that adorable bump you have:
Dresses: Dresses in the spring and summer will be your best friend when pregnant (or anytime really). They fit well over bumps and boobs of all sizes, they are easy to throw on, and wearing a dress just makes you feel more feminine and pretty even if you’re also feeling large in the mid-section. I am loving maxi dresses as well as more fitted, knee length dresses this season.
Tunic Shirts: These have become a must have for my maternity closest. They are long enough to cover a growing belly and midsection, which my other shirts have proven not able to do, and you can get them in a huge variety of styles.
Bottoms: Invest in a good pair of maternity shorts and some skirts with an elastic waistband. I also recommend getting a Belly Band so that you are able to continue wearing your own pants. This will save you some money and they tend to fit much better than maternity pants. I would also get a mid-length skirt that is stretchy and comfortable. This is great for work, church, or whenever you need to look a little bit more put together.
No maternity clothing post would be complete without the a little chat about our girls. No, I don’t mean my kids. I mean the two girls that every woman has, that tend to change shape, size and height when pregnancy comes around.
*I was asked to review a maternity/nursing bra from Leonisa. As someone with a large bust even before pregnancy, it is really important to me that I am able to find something that actually fits the girls, keeps them in place, and serves the purpose it was meant for.
The “Super Comfy Everyday Nursing Bra” does just that. It is extremely comfortable, it holds the girls in place, and it will serve as a great and easy to use nursing bra in a few months. This is not a bra I would wear out of the house, only because I prefer under wire bras when I am out of the house, even when I am nursing. They are very reasonably priced at $30 and would also be great to sleep in. I mention this about sleeping in them because if you have nursed before, you know that you have to sleep in something that you can wear breast pads with or you will wake up soaked.
The material itself is so soft, but durable. I also love how the front cups are stitched because it looks so much more flattering on then just a smooth front nursing bra. I love that the back is almost like a racer back style because it provides a lot more support than other standard hook back nursing bras I have tried.
The only downfall that I found was the sizing available. They only offer S/M and L/XL. While I obviously went with the larger, I wish that the sizes were 4 separate bras because I feel like the XL could be a tad bigger, purely for nursing reasons. Otherwise, great product for the quality and cost! Check them out on Leonisa’s website, here.
What are your favorite places to buy maternity/pregnancy wear?
I’ll have another maternity clothing post when it gets closer to summer as well:)
*Cheers to feeling stylish and beautiful while pregnant*

I really love how you’ve shared where you bought each item and show us how to look fashionable when pregnant. 🙂 I bought some expensive tops when I was pregnant just so I would look somewhat presentable, but didn’t really know how to accessorize. If I ever get pregnant again I am so coming back to this. 🙂

I don’t know how I missed this, but somehow I did. You look so cute! The highs are still in the 20’s here in Nashville, so I am SOOOOOO looking forward to dress season. It will make dressing the bump and boobs so much easier and more comfortable. I am loving that blazer and tee combo. You look adorable!

I love Target! Old Navy surprised me with this dress and some of their basic dresses. I have never had success with them in terms of bottoms, but tops and dresses are a win for me:)
