I am such a sucker for new items and anything that is limited edition so when these Morphe The Little Palette eyeshadows came out, I was done for. I have raved about Morphe in the past for their shadows and their brushes, not to mention their fabulous price tag. These were just too pretty, and too much of a great deal to pass up!
These “little palettes” were done in collaboration with Elena Gant. I love that they are doing this, and at only $10 a palette! That’s insane! I mean, there are only 8 colors in each, but the shadows are excellent quality and the pan sizes are generous.
There are four palettes in this collection, and I picked up two of them. The other two, while beautiful, are colors that I already have in the Morphe 35O palette, so I didn’t have any “‘umph” to get those as well.
Morphe The Little Palette Reviews
These palettes are a mix of 8 different matte, satin, and shimmer shades.
The first one that grabbed was the ” Awesome Blossom” palette. This is what they have to say about it on the Morphe website. It is the most colorful of all of the palettes, and I didn’t have a ton like it my collection so this was on my “must-have” list.
“Bold jewel tones and warm, spicy colors make this palette enticing and inviting like a favorite seasonal treat. The shimmers are perfect for a fun, festive look and the matte shades have a little extra kick to heat things up. It’s the perfect palette for parties and date nights.”
The swatches are done with and without flash, so you can see the difference in color.
The second palette I picked up is named “Coffee Toffee”. This palette is the more plum/mauve toned of all of the palettes, with a lot of warm browns and hints of rose/copper.
“These deeper, warmer shades are perfect for darker skin tones while still being wearable for a light to medium complexion. The coppery red tones and rich browns in highly pigmented shades give a stand-out, sultry look with a little bit of heat.”
The photos for this one are showing slightly more brown, but there are some purple/rosey undertones in these shadows.
The one thing about their palettes is that because they have so many different shadows, none of them have names, and the ones in the palettes aren’t labeled. So, this makes it difficult when trying to explain which color is which.
None of the shadows are poor quality. The shadows are consistently good across both of the palettes that I received, and the pigmentation is amazing for what the price tag is. Plus, these are such a great option for travel!
I would say that Awesome Blossom is my favorite and it stole my heart with the colors and the shadow quality.
These are limited edition, and I know a few of them are already sold out. I would say grab them up if you can! They are beautiful, great quality, and I love the color combinations. Look below done using the Coffee Toffee palette.
Which one of the Morphe The Little Palette 8 shadows would you pick up?
