Manny MUA and Makeup Geek Palette

These are the colors in the palette. There are 9 of them, 3 of them permanent to Makeup Geek, 5 sold only in this palette created by Manny, and 1 that is a pressed version of a Makeup Geek loose pigment.

Artemis: a muted champagne yellow with a shimmery finish. Gorgeous highlight color for the inner corner, pop it in the center of the lid, or dot it in the inner corner to brighten up the eyes.
Beaches & Cream: a soft peachy beige with a matte finish. This color is a hint too light for me, but I love to use it just so set eye primers or lay down as a base color. For fair skin tones, this is the perfect transition shade.
Luna: a medium rose gold with a foiled finish. This one is exactly what it says, the most beautiful rose gold shadow. Throw this all over the lid with Sora or Frappe in the crease and you have an easy spring look.

Cosmopolitan: a gold-flecked medium rose with a shimmery finish. This is a permanent shade at Makeup Geek and you can buy it separately. It is a beautiful pink color, perfect for spring and summer.  This would look amazing with a tan or with deep skin tones. Yes girl!
Sora: a medium earthy terracotta with a matte finish. Gorgeous transition shade!
Frappe: a medium maple brown with a matte finish. This is a great transition for deeper skin tones or a good crease color for fair to medium skin tones.

Insomnia: a warm red brown with blue reflects and a foiled finish. This color is everything! Makeup Geek has an Insomnia loose pigment, which is this color but not in pressed form. I love everything about this.
Mars: a deep cherry red with a matte finish. I have a love hate relationship with this shade. The color and pigmentation are beautiful, but the actual shadow is dry and a little hard to blend, so you really have to pack it on and work with it  a little at a time.
Aphrodite: a deep plum brown with a matte finish. A beautiful deep shade to finish off any look. You could easily do a smokey eye with this instead of a black shadow.

The names of all of the shadows are listed on the back of the palette as well.

Overall, I am really impressed with the shades in this palette and the quality of most of the shadows. None of them are complete duds, and there are some that have quickly become go-to shadows for me. Here is a look I did with this palette only.

Beaches and Cream all over the eye, Sora in the crease/transition shade, Mars mixed with a little bit of Aphrodite in the crease and inner/outer thirds of the eye, Luna in the center portion of the lid (applied with a wet brush using MAC Fix +), Artemis in the inner corner and under brow bone, Frappe and Mars smudged out on lower lash line.

What are your favorite colors from this palette? Did you get your hands on one yet?

*Cheers to the makeup collabs that get you excited to buy*
