First of all, I cannot even begin to contain my excitement for this. I started watching Jaclyn Hill years ago when I was pregnant with my first, and she really got me into loving makeup and wanting to learn about it. That love for makeup got me out of a really rough time emotionally. When the Jaclyn Hill and Becca palette came out, I was waiting at the Sephora checkout online to grab it up!

Jaclyn Hill and Becca PaletteThis is a limited edition part of the Champagne collection, although I know you can find it online places  for a much higher price tag.

Jaclyn Hill and Becca Palette for the Face

Can we talk about the packaging??? When my children get older and aren’t the destroyers of all nice things, my house decor will be in the colors of this packing. I live for white and gold together!

IMG_4652The mirror is huge and such great quality. This would be the perfect palette to travel with because of that, and because it is extremely sturdy. A+ on the packaging!

This palette contains five powders: three blushes and two highlight shades.

IMG_4660Two highlight shades: Champagne Pop (soft white gold with pinky peach undertones) and Prosecco Pop (medium warm gold). You can find Champagne Pop as a part of Becca’s permanent collection. I love these two together and on their own. If you are deeper in skin tone, Prosecco would be beautiful because it is slightly darker highlight then the other and it is a true gold shade.IMG_4657
The three blushes: Amaretto (matte toasted almond), Pamplemousse (matte warm coral pink) and a luminous blush in Rosé Spritz (soft peachy pink with pale gold shimmer). Rosé Spritz is going to be my go-to this summer! It is absolutely stunning! Amaretto is forever going to be my favorite blush because it would literally go with anything. I love blushes that are more of a natural tone. I won’t get a ton of use out of Pamplemousse because it isn’t a blush shade that I gravitate towards, but still, gorgeous!IMG_4656

The formulation of these are all equally great. Each of them is soft, creamy, and highly pigmented. There really isn’t anything negative to say about this except for the fact that it is limited edition.

The one thing that I am missing out this palette would be a peachy blush, but then again, Amaretto can work with any look so you really don’t need that addition.
