My family and I recently got to go and visit The Great Wolf Lodge in Virginia, to preview their new Summer Camp-In theme. This will be happening from the end of May through September 2, and is such a fun way to enjoy a summer week/weekend!
They really thought about all of the activities, the kids, the way the rooms would be, and even the menu. The team at Great Wolf wanted kids that weren’t going away or going to an outdoor campy for the summer to have a way to come back to school and share their “camp” stories from their trip to the lodge.
My kids had the best time, and they loved it all. They range in age from 3-7, and each of them had something to do and tons of ways to keep busy. There were also plenty of things that we did all together as a family, and each one of us enjoyed for different reasons.
*Our trip here was hosted by Great Wolf. All opinions on the trip and the lodge are my own.
For the summer, The Great Wolf Lodge is adding camp-themed elements to all of their locations. We had a chance to preview the delicious campfire inspired menu (including a crawfish boil and s’mores), indoor campfire stories, camp crafts, and pool parties.
You can find out more about it by checking out our review, and heading over to their website to read more and see some of the awesome deals they have for summer stays!
