The holidays are quickly approaching, and with the start of the gifting season comes the start of all of the special edition kits and products from makeup companies. One of those items is this four piece lipstick set. Today we are chatting about the Bite Beauty The Perfect Bite review and swatches.
Bite Beauty The Perfect Bite Review
This kit contains four of the Amuse Bouche lipsticks from Bite Beauty. These have always been some of my favorite, all natural lipstick, but normally they are $26 for a full size. This kit is $25 at Sephora, and although the four lipsticks are mini, it still has FOUR different lipsticks for that price! First win:)
The texture of the Bite Beauty lipsticks is amazing. It is really creamy, pigmented, and it smells amazing because they are made from fresh pressed fruit. They are also packed with oils that are excellent for your lips.
This set is complete with two nude shades, one light brownish nude and a deeper nude, a rosy pink, and a rich cognac brown with a hint of merlot coloring. All of these have a satin finish.
- Fig is a slightly muted, medium pink
- Pepper is a muted, medium-dark rosy plum
- Honeycomb is a light-medium, peachy beige
- Nori is a dark, reddish burgundy with just hint of purple
I was impressed with all of these shades. I normally don’t wear a lot of pink, so even though Fig is one of Bite Beauty’s most popular lip shades, I won’t get a ton of use out of it. However, the other three shades are beautiful. It is slightly brighter pink then it is in this photo.
One of the best things about this kit is that basically all of these shades would look so gorgeous on so many different skin tones. I really love when brands make it so everyone can enjoy their products.
One of the things I will say is that you NEED a lipliner with these. Because they are such a creamy formula, I have found that they do have a tendency to bleed outside of the lipline, especially the darker colors.
The one downfall of this kit is the size of the lipsticks, while they do allow for you to get precise angles on application, you do have to use quite a few swipes of the lipstick to cover your lips entirely. For this reason, I feel like they might get used up quickly if you are using these colors frequently. However, for $25, I can’t be mad at that! You can pick yours up at Sephora.
After seeing this Bite Beauty The Perfect Bite review, do you think you will go grab it up? I think it would make a fantastic gift! It may even have to be a part of my holiday giveaway:)
*Cheers to luscious lips*
