Unique Father’s Day Gift Ideas

Can you believe that we are almost half way through 2017 already? With the month of June comes Father’s Day, and I always try my hardest to get my husband some really neat gifts every year. I like to pride myself on being the best gift giver in the family;) It is my love language for sure. I have partnered up with Uncommon Goods to bring you some amazing and unique Father’s Day gift ideas, or some great gift ideas for men in general.

Ties and watches are nice, but here are some options for unique Father's Day gift ideas when you want to go a little outside of the gift box.

Unique Father’s Day Gift Ideas

This first gift is by far my favorite. I already gave it to my husband because of this post (blogger hubby life), and he loves it! It is a wooden board that houses all of your beer caps. I got this one for my husband, because I thought it would be neat to try to get caps from all around the country to put into it. Honestly, I think it is such a cool gift, that I went ahead and bought one for my step-dad as well, in a different design!

What goes better with the gift above than a craft beer subscription to help him fill up his new beer cap board. I have ordered from Craft Beer Club many times in the past, and have never been disappointed. You can send them a set number of beers each month, and have it ongoing or only purchase for a few months at a time. They always send a unique variety or beers, and it is always fun to try out brews that you normally couldn’t or wouldn’t pick up from the store!

If the dad in your life is more into funny gifts, or likes gross topics of conversation like mine does, this book is a winner! “What’s Your Poo Telling You” is quite literally a book that talks all about the bathroom and the number 2 situation that all men think is a great conversation piece. I can’t wait to give this one to my husband because I know he will get a kick out of it! It will most likely reside in our guest bathroom. You could pair it with some personalized whiskey glasses, or a classic watch to make some fantastic gifts for your wedding party.

This last gift isn’t necessarily for men and dad’s specifically, but it would make a wonderful gift if they love to cook or entertain. These slate cheese platters some in any one of the 50 states, and they also come in a USA design as well. How beautiful would this look at a wine a cheese parter you throw with that special dad in your life? Plus, this can double as a gift for couples as well. I love ordering from Uncommon Goods because of what they stand for in terms of their suppliers and artists creating things in an environmentally friendly manner. They also have the Better to Give Program, created in 2001, which allows you to select a non-profit organization to receive a $1 donation from us at checkout.  So every time you place an order, the company allows you to give back through them!

Which of these gifts would the dad in your life like to receive the most? Do you have any other fun and unique Father’s Day gift ideas? Share them in the comments below!

  1. Great gift ideas! I love celebrating my husband on Father’s Day. Luckily it also coincides with the start of our golf season here in the Northeast so it’s usually pretty easy to find something he’ll appreciate.

  2. I have a niece who collects soda bottle caps. Gave her a similar display board last year. This one looks like a great dad gift!

  3. I feel like we are married to the same guy! I am not kidding when I tell you that we have given all but 1 of the ideas you mentioned (the glasses – because we have waaaay too many). My husband has been waiting to put up his beer map until we finish the basement but has been saving his caps. It is also fun for the kids too! All great ideas!
