September Family Favorites

I am so excited that we are already into October! The fall and winter are my favorite seasons, and even though we don’t really get those here in Arizona, I can sure fake it with my holiday candles and decor. September was a fun month for us, as we traveled a lot to visit family, so we have a few fun September family favorites to bring you.

As we get closer to the holidays, the favorites only get better! So make sure to add these to your gift ideas if you see something you think you would love to. You can also check out August’s favorites list here.

Me: I am so excited that it is finally fall! I have been waiting for this all year…;) Fall is my favorite season out of the year for various reasons. Be prepared for a lot of fall-themed favorites in the next few months. This month, as we visited Washington and finally got a taste of some cooler weather, I lived in oversized sweaters. I love this oatmeal colored sweater from The Gap, you can find a similar one here,  Loose Cardigan Sweater Knit Khaki. My favorite wine this month has been anything red… haha. My mom and I enjoyed quite a bit of wine while I was visiting her. img_5409

Hubs: His favorite beer this month has been the New Belgium Pumpkick IPA. Now this is a beer that I can get on board with! I I love the spiced fall flavors just as much as he does.

4 YO: She has all of a sudden been really into clothes. She really loves her clothes to have pink on them, she wants to pick them out by herself before school, and she is obsessed with matching her clothes by color. OBSESSED. Even if they don’t really match by print, as long as the prints have the same color, that is what she is about in life. This heart jacket, (similar Weatherproof Baby-Girls Heart Print Jacket) is one of her “must have” pieces right now it seems.img_5496

2 YO: She has become obsessed with the movie, Frozen. We all know that that movie is by now… and how wonderful the soundtrack is especially when you’ve heard it for the 100th time in a row. My 4YO was hooked on it, and now I guess it’s just going down the line. Frozen blankets, Frozen the movie, Frozen “Elsa” doll… everything and anything that has to do with that film, she loves. Guess what she is getting for Christmas?;) We found an “Elsa” blanket at Target on clearance. Win! Shop Disney Frozen Elsa Throw Blanket for your little ones.

Twins: Our poor little twins have been struggling this month. Between teething, a cold, and schedule changes from traveling. There isn;t much that they have been loving. But, as their mama, I have been loving baby moccasins, like these Baby Boys & Girls Tassel Soft Soled Non-slip Moccasins , similar to the lilac shoes my little girl has on below. They are so easy to slip on and off, and they are comfortable for all shapes of baby feet. Why didn’t I know about these sooner?!img_5467

  2. Those baby moccasins are absolutely adorable! I am loving faking fall with candles and pumpkin decos because it sure doesn’t look or feel like fall here in Southern California!
